External Consultants are those who serve as Lavoce’s representatives in the traditional business world to help citizens understand why it is important to make fashion discrimination illegal. To convey a positive image to clients, our employees must dress appropriately. Always wear your name badge so that people may identify you even if their aim is to complain.
Dress Code for External Consultants
Do not wear the following when representing the company to the client:
If you are an external consultant you may have tattoos that are minimal or concealed. When deciding what to wear remember that you are not going out to party. The goal is traditional business attire with one piece of flair.
Hygiene for All Employees
The Policies & Procedures Handbook (Handbook) describes important information about Lavoce, and I understand that I should consult the President about any questions not answered in the Handbook. I have entered into my employment relationship with Lavoce voluntarily and acknowledge that there is no specified length of employment. Accordingly, either I or Lavoce can end the relationship at will, with or without cause, at any time, so long as there is no violation of applicable federal or state law.
Furthermore, I acknowledge that this handbook is neither a contract of employment nor a legal document. I have received the handbook, and I understand that it is my responsibility to read and comply with the policies contained in this handbook and any revisions made to it.
This handbook will acquaint you with Lavoce: We Are People Too (Lavoce) and give you information about policies affecting your employment. You should read, understand, and comply with all provisions of the handbook. It describes many of your responsibilities as an employee and outlines the programs developed by Lavoce to help employees. One of our goals is to offer a work environment that is conducive to both personal and professional growth.
No employee handbook can anticipate every circumstance or question about policy. As Lavoce continues to grow, the need may arise and Lavoce reserves the right to revise, supplement, or rescind any policies or portion of the handbook, as well as information and benefits, from time to time as it deems appropriate, in its sole and absolute discretion. The only exception to any changes is our employment-at-will policy permitting you or the Company to end our relationship for any reason at any time. Employees will, of course, be notified of such changes to the handbook as they occur. All such changes will be communicated through official notices, and revised information may supersede, change, or end existing policies. Only the President can approve any revisions to the policies in this handbook.
This is a blog, not a wiki. That said, you still have a voice (“voce”) in how things will be run. I will post proposed policies and standard operating procedures. This is interactive. Please comment on what to remove, add, or change. This adds a level of checks and balances (the customer will keep employees in check) as well as a level of employee engagement. I will not post the business plan, proprietary trade secrets, and employee personal information on this site.
